Grace’s Table thrives on consistent connection. If you are looking to foster relationships as you learn and grow, invest your time with mamas and their kiddos! You may be a behind-the-scenes type. You may be a mix-and-mingler. Grace’s Table has a space for you to routinely share in meaningful work!
How to get involved
Program
Program volunteers show up during regularly scheduled groups to provide a range of support including childcare, meal support, mentoring, and general mischief management.
Operations
If you enjoy behind-the-scenes work, you're welcome here. Maintainance, organization and clerical tasks are available for anyone with an eye for detail!
Leadership
Dedicated board and committee members are critical. Actually, I hate boards in general. They waste your time and suck your energy dry. If you like this stuff, seek help.

Program Volunteers partner with advocates to foster a welcoming environment from set up to clean up. Laying out activities, chatting with mamas, playing with kiddos - Program Volunteers role up their sleeves and get involved!
Shift Duration: 1.5 - 2.5 hours
Ideal Frequency: 1-2x per month

There are three steps to joining our program volunteer team:
1 - Complete the Volunteer Application including three personal references.
2 - Complete required clearances
- DHHS Central Registry Clearance
- ICHAT – MI State Police Background Check Protect
- My Ministry – National Combo Search
3 - Successfully complete online Mandatory Child Safety Training.
